How seasons, boards and scoring work
The weekly season
A season runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, West Africa Time (WAT, UTC+1). Every board resets to zero at the start of a new season — scores never carry over. The arrows next to a score show how far a member moved compared with the previous season.
The three boards
Each board ranks independently. You can appear on all three at once.
- Deposit Volume
- Total Units from confirmed broker deposits and crypto purchases.
- Withdrawal Volume
- Total Units from confirmed broker withdrawals and crypto sales.
- Referrals
- Invited members who completed KYC and their first confirmed transaction. See section 4.
Ties are broken by whoever reached the score first.
Only confirmed transactions score
A transaction scores when our team marks it confirmed — not when you submit it, and not when you click I have paid. Pending and declined transactions are worth zero. Wallet top-ups do not score.
Volume is measured in Units. Units are a relative measure of activity used only for ranking; they are not a currency and have no cash value.
What counts as a qualified referral
A referral scores in the season when the person you invited has:
- signed up using your referral link;
- completed KYC verification and been approved; and
- completed their first confirmed transaction.
Sign-ups alone are worth nothing. Referrals that share a device, bank account, ID document or payout destination with the referrer are treated as self-referrals and may be removed under section 6.
Your nickname and your privacy
You appear on every board under a nickname assigned automatically to your account. We never publish your legal name, email, phone number, account number, bank or location on the leaderboard.
Our team can match a nickname to an account where required for verification, fraud investigation, paying out a prize, or a lawful request. Anything you share elsewhere linking your nickname to your identity is your own disclosure.
Fair play
The following can remove you from a board, forfeit any prize, and may suspend your account:
- Operating more than one account, or transacting through another member's account.
- Cycling the same funds in and out to inflate volume.
- Creating referral accounts you control, or paying people to sign up without genuine use.
- Submitting false payment proof or a transaction hash that is not yours.
- Any attempt to automate transactions against the platform.
Please compete responsibly
Rankings reflect payment activity on MgtsPayments. They are not a measure of trading skill, and a high position is not evidence that anyone is profitable — funds you move through this platform are traded elsewhere, at your own risk. Never deposit money you cannot afford to lose in order to climb a board. If competing is affecting how much you deposit, contact support.
Prizes and changes
Where prizes are offered, they are announced in-app before the season opens. Winners must have an approved KYC status and a matching bank account to be paid. Prizes are not transferable.
We may amend these rules, adjust the boards, or pause a season. These rules sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
